Wie rumplestitchkin in de finale van Humo's rock rally editie 1998 nipt naast de ereplaatsen zag grijpen, wist dat deze groep nog heel wat moois in petto had. Dat het uiteindelijk vijf jaar heeft geduurd vooraleer de groep met een full cd debuteert, heeft vooral met pech te maken.

De groep is echter steeds in zichzelf blijven geloven en nam in 2001 en 2002 op met producer Frans Hagenaars (zie ook Mauro, Metal Molly en Bettie Serveert). Het resultaat was het debuutalbum 'small-time hero' (2003).
